To be an entrepreneur, you have to be willing to take on some responsibilities that you might not have if you worked for someone else. For example, if your business is selling something, you have to manufacture what you’re selling or find someone else to do it. Then you have to arrange to have it delivered and collect payment. If you were an employee of someone else's company, you’d probably be responsible for just one of those things.
But because you take risks as a business owner, you are entitled to a large part of what your business earns. That’s one of the big rewards. Another is the satisfaction of being independent.
